Hey there! My names Ella, although most people call me Ell. I wanted to write this section a little more personally, so that you can really connect with me as an individual and the founder of BlueMonkey. The way I see it, people do business with people. We’re not some huge corporate company, motivated purely by money. We care about our clients; we care about getting the best possible results for them and we become part of their extended team to ensure we’re achieving what they really want to achieve!
So who am I & what do I do?! Well, I’m an Entrepreneur, Author, Speaker & Social Media Influencer, working for myself, doing the things I love and inspiring others to do the same too. My main focus is Blue Monkey Social Media, but aside from this I’m also the founder of The Lucky Truth: a platform to motivate, support & inspire teenagers and young people.
I guess I’ve always kind of loved all things entrepreneurial. At the age of 14 I was earning additional income for myself from a dance tuition business, at the age of 17 I left my secure job at a start-up company to set up my first business, and now- I have my own apartment in the city centre with multiple income streams and the freedom to work from wherever I want.
As Steve Jobs, once said: ‘The only way to do great work is to love what you do!’
And that’s one of the reasons Blue Monkey is so successful. Myself and my team have such a passion for social media, we’re incredibly goal orientated, absolutely bursting with creative ideas & genuinely love what we do!
I believe you should practice what you preach. And for me personally, I have a combined social media follower base of over 70 thousand. The online world fascinates me and businesses today can spend all the money they want on SEO & Google Ads but even when you make it to the top on google- people usually know you’ve only got there, because you paid to get there!
I wanted to find a way to use social media to generate genuine interest in a business; representing them in the most fun, engaging way; to make them stand out because of what they do and how well they do it. So I studied hard, tested it out and before long, I was creating effective strategies that REALLY WORKED! I directed more traffic to my site than you would ever imagine, cultivated a large, interested target audience and began to get more and more business leads!
From there, I created basic methodologies on different social media platforms that I could adapt to suit any industry and suit any target audience. Now, myself and my team apply these to other businesses, using a new, creative way to add prospect customers into an earlier stage of their sales funnel. The result?
